TMV family meeting. Euskelec as a model of ACbR

Meeting of the Professional Family of Transport and Vehicle Maintenance: competition as a challenge model for collaborative learning.

Teachers of the Vocational Family of Transport and Vehicle Maintenance will meet this Tuesday, 22 June, at the Innovation Centre for Vocational Training of Aragon (CIFPA), in a day dedicated to collaborative learning around the electric vehicle.

The germ of this meeting is the participation of IES Miralbueno in the Championship of Electric Vehicles made by VET students, Euskelec 2021, which was held in Bilbao on the weekend of 29 May. In addition, the rules and dates for registration for Euskelec 2022 will be explained at this event.

This competition can be considered a model for Challenge-Based Collaborative Learning (CBCL) and this meeting will analyse how the Aragonese centre participated and how it can become an impulse in the conversion of these cycles into A.0 Cycles. The meeting will also be attended by companies from the sector such as MotorLand, Grup Eina, Alterity and Goya Automoción, which also have a lot to say about the methodological changes that are taking place in Aragonese education.

10:00 am. Welcome by Antonio Carrión, Director of the Centro de Innovación para la Formación Profesional de Aragón (CIFPA).

10:05 am. Inauguration by Toni Martínez, Director General for Innovation and Vocational Training of the Government of Aragon.

10:00 a.m. What has it been like and what has it meant for teachers and students to prepare a competition car in Euskelec 2021? Rafael Pérez, Head of the Transport and Vehicle Maintenance Department at IES Miralbueno.

10:45 am. Competition team "The Rookies Miralbueno".

11:00 a.m. Cycles A.0 and ACbR in Vocational Training. Carlos Sernis, Technical Advisor of the VET Service.

11:30 a.m. The company as a support for technological and methodological innovation in VET. Alterity and Goya Automoción (BMW).

11:45 am. Coffee Networking and inspection and testing with the IES Miralbueno vehicle.
