Iron Panda'25: Second place for the Dune Leopard

Second place for the Leopardo de las Dunas of the Malavá Team, led by the García Latorre brothers, who have had the technical support of Sergio Martínez and Adrián Martínez, students of the Intermediate Level Training Cycle of Automotive Electromechanics of the IES Miralbueno, and their teacher David Poblador.

During the 2,700 kilometers covered in the eight stages of the rally, the team demonstrated its ability to solve mechanical problems under extreme conditions, applying the knowledge acquired in the classroom and developing key skills such as teamwork and quick decision-making.

In addition to the technical achievements, the participation of IES Miralbueno in the Iron Panda Race had an important solidarity component. Through the NGO Itran, school supplies were delivered to disadvantaged rural communities in Morocco, reaffirming the school's commitment to education and equal opportunities.

The Malavá-Team is the team formed by brothers Joaquín and David García Latorre, who have already participated in several editions of this competition. For its part, the participation of IES Miralbueno in this race is included in the regional innovation project: Iron Panda 2025 Mechanical Assistance, which has recently been authorized within the current call and is still open.
