24 Nov CIFPA, member of the Network of Excellence in VET of the Ministry of Education and VET
The Innovation Center for Vocational Training of Aragon (CIFPA) has been selected by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, in the call for 2022, to join the first state network of Centers of Excellence in Vocational Training. From the Aragonese Community, have also been selected: the Integrated Public Centers of Vocational Training Pirámide, in Huesca, and Bajo Aragón, in Alcañiz. The Government of Aragon proposed these three candidates as they dedicate an important part of their activity to the three strategic sectors of the Community: renewable energies, automotive and logistics.
The three candidacies presented by the Aragonese Administration are integrated into this national network and Aragon is expected to receive an amount close to 3 million euros from the Next Generation-EU Funds.
The designation obligates these training entities to:
- Promote the development of innovation and applied research projects.
- Organize, at the national level, training for VET teachers in their field.
- Work together with companies to detect employment and qualification needs in each of the productive sectors of reference.
- Detect the needs of professional profiles.
- Promote curricular revisions of the area's educational offerings.
- Collaborate with other Centers of Excellence in this network.
In general, these Centers of Excellence are intended to act as catalysts of innovative ecosystems and creators of environments for innovation, research and entrepreneurship.
CIFPA fulfilled all the requirements set forth by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, standing out for the close collaboration it maintains with companies, business associations, trade unions, training centers, teachers and different organizations in our environment. In fact, the proposal put forward by CIFPA was backed by its status as a National Reference Center in Commercial Logistics and Transport Management. The logistics cluster of Aragon, Aragon Logistics Platform, Mobility City of the Ibercaja Foundation, Aragon Exterior or the IAF, among others, supported the candidacy of center of excellence in the logistics sector.
In its short history, CIFPA has based its work on the motto of the entity: "Your future, our Impulse" . Promoting from Vocational Training the talent, innovation and creativity of the main capital of our territory, which are the people.
This designation has been possible thanks to the work and commitment of the entire team working in this center.
Our congratulations to the other two Aragonese centers that are also part of this national network, CPIFP Pirámide and CPIFP Bajo Aragón and, of course, to the rest of the centers in the country that have been selected.
