Visit of the President of the Government to the CIFPA

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has visited today the facilities of the Innovation Centre for Vocational Training in Aragon accompanied by the minister of Education and FP, Isabel Celaá, President of the Government of Aragon, Javier Lambán, the Education Counselor, Mayte Pérez and other regional and municipal representatives.

During The visit, the President and the Minister have toured the unique facilities that make this center national reference in commercial logistics and transportation management of the professional family of commerce and marketing.  They have been given a demonstration with the automated logistics factory, a learning system that includes all the automation elements for pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, sensors, robotics, CNC Technologies, PLC and Field bus technology, manufacturing technology and process engineering as well as mechatronics.

The visit has continued through the logistic warehouses dedicated to the systematic management of goods, optimizing processes such as the entry of goods or their storage.  It has been followed by the Lean Warehouse, a space with a modular equipment that allows to work and to form in systems of management improvement in the organization and operations that are carried out in a warehouse, improving the productivity of the warehouses, optimizing the Logistical processes.

The official delegation was accompanied by a group of representatives of the business fabric of Aragon during the technical demonstrations that were carried out in various spaces of the center, like the logistic factory, LEAN warehouse and logistic warehouses.

At the end of the visit, presentations were made by the President of Aragon, Javier Lambán, and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in which he showed the good role of the FP model in Aragon and the future bet on this training. In Addition, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced the next call for a line of 6 million euros, by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, to finance FP projects, which will finance the selected programs To present two FP centres, from different Autonomous Communities, although it will also be open to universities.
