18 OCT CIFPA participates in the presentation of the Xcelence Orientation Program
The advisor of the Innovation Center for Vocational Training of Aragon (CIFPA), Carmen Sanchez, has participated in the presentation of the Xcelence Aragon Program for the current school year.
This initiative is led by the Bertelsmann Foundation and its objective is to provide a reference framework "that allows schools to implement improvements in their guidance systems, inspired by international reference practices, which aims to position guidance as a strategic element in schools, implement a new professional figure in the field of academic-vocational guidance, and bring the educational world closer to the professional world".
The CIFPA advisor took part in the round table in which the schools that already participated in the 2023-24 academic year in this educational guidance experience were represented. In addition to CIFPA, as the center responsible for the implementation of the program last year, the IES Miralbueno of Zaragoza was represented by Jessica Cámara, coordinator of Academic-Professional Strategy, and Isabel Marín, director of the IES La Azucarera, also of Zaragoza.
The welcome was given by the head of the Educational Policy Service of the Government of Aragon, Milagros Liberal, whose General Directorate is in charge of the program for this academic year. Afterwards, Juan José Juárez, senior Project Manager at Fundación Bertelsmann and expert in FP Dual, presented the Xcelence program for the current academic year. The day continued with the intervention of Ana Belén García, head of the Xcelence Escuelas Que Inspiran project, from Empieza por Educar, who presented the training planned for the coming months.
The Xcelence Program of the Bertelsmann Foundation is supported by the Government of Aragon and the Ibercaja Foundation.
