25 Sep Fifth SIMULTRA project meeting in Parma and final conference
The fifth and last transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 Project was held on 23 and 24 September at the headquarters of CiPIM Interporto di Parma, the host partner for the occasion. SIMULTRA. The simulators developed in the project receive their final touches to house them in the SIMULTRA websitewhich is expected to be available next November.
The presentation made by CIFPA representatives on the almost final version of the warehouse management training simulator (WHS) aroused great interest from the members present at the meeting. The application has been developed so that the teachers who use it in their centres can carry out simulated warehouse management practices and then carry them out in person in the logistics warehouses that have the CIFPA. The tool gives the student a real vision of what warehouse management represents.
Subsequently, the attendees were offered a visit to the facilities of the logistics platform of the Interporto di Parma, model of intermodality e integration of logistics services And distribution of goods in the region of Emilia-Romagna.
Finally, the final conference of the presentation of the project to the interest groups of the region (companies and public institutions) took place during the day of the 24th, in which the potential of the platform for the improvement in the training and acquisition of competences for the qualification in the area of logistics and transport was demonstrated.
