"Tierra Mudéjar", the exhibition at our Espacio Desconecta

In the Espacio Desconecta of the Centro de Innovación para la Formación Profesional de Aragón (CIFPA) you can visit an exhibition of the Diputación Provincial de Zaragoza on Mudejar Art in its villages while you have a coffee.

Clay for bricks and ceramics, wood as a support for constructions and plaster as a base for the carving and fretwork of rich spaces are the undisputed protagonists of this artistic expression that produces a special fascination by uniting elements of Islamic and Christian art.

In this exhibition you can see photos of details of Mudejar monuments that can be visited in towns and cities in the province. The exhibition takes us to La Almunia de Doña Godina, Tobed, Torralba de Ribota, Maluenda, Mesones de Isuela, Calatayud, Cetina, Tarazona, Aniñón, Peñaflor, Ricla, Ateca, Morata de Jiloca, Daroca, Illueca, Cervera de la Cañada and Zaragoza. A good excuse to take advantage of a weekend to make a cultural visit to all these towns in Zaragoza.
