Visit of Minister Magdalena Valerio Al CIFPA

THE Minister of Labor, Migrations and Social Security, Magdalena Valerio, has known this past Monday in Zaragoza the work that is being developed in Aragon in the field of employment and vocational training. Valerio has held a working meeting with President Javier Lambán, in which the minister of Economy, Industry and Employment, Marta Gastón, and the Government delegate, Carmen Sánchez, have also participated. They have addressed the evolution and employment prospects, as well as the importance of social dialogue and the possibilities offered by dual FP.

Then, the Minister of Labor, Magdalena Valerio, has been able to know firsthand the work that develops the Center for Innovation for Vocational Training in Aragon (CIFPA), whose headquarters is installed the first learning factory in the country, a Installation replica of a real factory of the automotive sector that allows to develop all the training aspects related to the sector: manufacturing, production, logistics, management, communications and processes. Valerio has known the work of training the students of the IES Virgin del Pilar who were in the facilities and has shared with them about their future work.

During this visit, in which she has been accompanied by the Government delegate in Aragon, Carmen Sánchez, and the councillor for Education, Culture and Sport, Mayte Pérez, among other authorities, Valerio has also been able to visit other of the stays of this center of National reference in commercial logistics and transportation management of the professional family of commerce and marketing, such as the automotive simulation room, the automated logistics factory or the logistic warehouses dedicated to the systematic management of Goods in the organization and operations that are carried out in a warehouse, improving the productivity of the warehouses, optimizing the logistic processes.

The CIFPA offers training for all Professional Training teachers (more than 2,800 teachers), offer courses on the menu on innovation and dual FP for the centers, gives certificates of professionalism and also leads students to teach what will be their future I work, for example, in the automotive sector, with the learning factory. Valerio said that he wanted to know the center, following the visit made by the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, and the minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, and has seen that Aragon is advancing "at a good pace" in the formation of the future.

Finally, the Minister of Labour has held a meeting at the headquarters of the Government of Aragon with the members of the Social Dialogue Bureau. In this meeting, in which also participated the Counsellor Marta Gastón, the delegate of the Government and the directors of Work and of the INAEM-has been able to address with the leaders in Aragon of CEOE, CEPYME, UGT and CCOO the principal matters related to the Ministry That leads Valerio and the work developed in our Autonomous Community through the collaboration between the Government of Aragon and the social agents.

The Social Dialogue Table of Aragon is the maximum body of negotiation and permanent institutional participation and of tripartite composition, a format with which the Government of Aragon has been working since the beginning of the legislature. The Social Dialogue Bureau was institutionalized with the Law on Social Dialogue and Institutional Participation – promoted by the current Government of Aragon and approved unanimously in the Courts on February 8th, 2018. Its fundamental role is precisely to encourage the participation of social agents in our Autonomous Community.
