Binaural audio, a didactic experience in the CIFPA podcast

Do you know the binaural technology related to audio? Would you like to know how an immersive podcast sounds like? At the Centro de Innovación para la Formación Profesional de Aragón (CIFPA) we have launched our first training action in binaural podcast format.
The training activity WonderWorld of Transport & Logistics. Level 1, organized by the Center of Excellence for Professional Training in the Transport and Logistics sector, is being taught with sound resources recorded in binaural format. This technology helps to create sound spaces in which the listener, through listening with headphones, goes from being a mere "spectator" of the scene to being the center and main part.
The objective of the training activity is to provide tools and resources to teachers working in the bilingual cycle of Vocational Training in Transport and Logistics. With binaural audio, students will learn in a different way. Pilar Lozano and Rebeca Sánchez, teachers of the Commerce and Marketing professional family at CPIFP Los Enlaces, together with the conversation assistant, Karl Sherman, have been in charge of the design, elaboration and recording of all the material for this level 1.
What is binaural sound?
Binaural recording captures audio as we hear it in reality. It is based on the difference in volume and delay that exists when we hear a sound in each ear. The process starts at pickup, at which point recording equipment is used whose configuration mimics our auditory perception system.

Resonar's goal is to turn your sound productions into a 360 experience that makes a difference. You can listen to one of the audios of the course for Transport and Logistics teachers and you will surely notice the difference. Just don't forget to put on your headphones.
