Calls for applications to promote innovation in Aragon's vocational training system

Aragonese vocational training for innovation

The Directorate General for Innovation and Vocational Training has presented, in an online conference offered in streaming, the two calls designed to promote innovation, both in the methodological and technological aspects, within the training cycles of FP of the Aragonese Community. These two calls will be published soon in the Official Gazette of Aragon.

The two calls are:

In the first case, the call for innovation projects, the aim is to promote innovation from a technological perspective and linked to the business fabric. The development of projects that can become the engine of other changes within the classrooms of Vocational Training and in line with what the labor market, the economy and business needs.

In this call, priority will be given to projects that involve collaboration between different training centres and between training centres and companies. Projects that have a significant impact and that can be transferable. Initiatives arising from the centres but which involve the companies in their environment, not only as suppliers but also as active collaborators. The objective will be to develop initiatives that involve technical, productive and process improvements and that favour both the educational and business sectors.

In the second case, the call for A.0 Cycles, a methodological transformation in the vocational training classroom is being promoted. The aim is to promote a change in the training model and respond to the demands of the labor market to have technically qualified workers but also equipped with competencies and social skills, something difficult to work in a conventional classroom model. The Aragonese Community is committed to the A.0 Cycles based on the methodology of Collaborative Learning based on Challenges (ACbR). In the current academic year, 36 A.0 training cycles have already been implemented and 130 teachers have received training in this methodology.
