"We are love: stories of diverse families" at Espacio Desconecta. The photojournalist María Torres-Solanot is the author of the photographs that accompany this exhibition, which aims to reflect diversity in the family environment.

At the Centro de Innovación para la Formación Profesional de Aragón (CIFPA) we already have a new exhibition. If you come to our facilities to attend courses, participate in one of our events or do some business, you can visit the exhibition "We are love: stories of diverse families", carried out, within a broader project, by the photojournalist María Torres-Solanot.

Our Espacio Desconecta has been filled with photographs showing the diversity of families that make up our reality. They are different models that go beyond the "conventional" family and that are in our environment although they have little visibility. The aim of this exhibition is to show them so that they really come out of the extraordinary and become normalised as family structures with equal social, legal and labour rights.

"We are love: stories of diverse families" is a travelling exhibition of the Zaragoza City Council's Department of Equality that aims to inform and raise awareness about family diversity and, at the same time, generate a space for reflection on this reality and the need to work towards an inclusive society. Torres-Solanot's work, which also includes an audiovisual and didactic units, although they are not presented on this occasion, aims to promote respect for affective, sexual and gender identity diversity and equal rights for all people and families.

As stated in the project documentation: "A family is a union of people who share a vital project of existence in common, which is intended to last, in which strong feelings of belonging to such a group are generated, there is a personal commitment among its members, and intense relationships of intimacy, reciprocity and dependence are established".
